From Vision to Velocity: Vidde’s path to 2026
Closing 2025: We’ve Proven the Machine. Now, We Build the Future.
As we wrap up 2025, Vidde has reached a tipping point. We have transitioned from presenting a vision to possessing a fully validated, award-winning, and data-driven product. We’ve proven that high-performance technology can thrive alongside circular principles—and the market response is clear: there is a massive demand for sustainable utility vehicles to replace aging fossil-fuel fleets.
2025: A Year of Transformation
Q1: Building the Core.
We didn’t just grow; we scaled our DNA by adding senior expertise from BRP. We moved from blueprints to our first pilot vehicles and finalized the infrastructure to capture the data that drives us. We also received highest-level recognition with both the German Design Award Gold 2025 and the Good Design Award (US).
Q2: Validation in the Extremes.
We launched our EV software platform, RapidRide, designed to help other EV companies move faster by leveraging our already operating digital platform. Through our partnership with Riksgränsen, we conducted intensive consumer testing. The result? Vast amounts of vehicle data and a clear confirmation: our machine meets the heavy-duty needs of professional users.
Q3: Refinement & Investment.
We spent the summer turning winter data into technical perfection. We also reached a major financial milestone: after a rigorous DD, we secured an investment from EIT Urban Mobility (EU). We were also honored with the Excellent Swedish Design (Utmärkt Svensk Form) distinction—an award you cannot apply for—cementing Vidde as a future piece of Swedish cultural heritage.

This Quarter, Q4
AI-Optimization & Supply Chain
During this final quarter, we utilized AI to interpret the massive data sets generated from our pilots and deep-snow testing. This “data-driven precision” has allowed us to define the vehicle’s technical requirements more accurately than traditional methods allow. These insights are now being baked into our supply chain to ensure our serial production in 2026 is stable, cost-effective, and high-quality.
Winner of the Swedish E-Prize 2025
Winning the E-Prize was the perfect conclusion to 2025. It recognizes excellence in energy efficiency and global scalability. For us, it’s a validation of our path toward commercial success and our role in the global energy transition.
The Roadmap to Market
As we enter 2026, we are increasing our pace with a clear two-step roadmap:
H1 2026: Tuning and Sales Conversion
We are dedicated to the “fine-tuning” phase—optimizing assembly and serviceability while securing a robust, sustainable supply chain. Simultaneously, our team is busy converting our strong pre-order interest into firm purchase agreements.
H2 2026: Serial Production and Delivery
This is the moment we’ve been building toward. Serial production begins in the second half of the year. The first units are scheduled to roll off the line this autumn, ensuring they are ready for work in the mountains in time for the 2026/27 winter season
