EIT Urban Mobility as new investor in Vidde

One of the EU’s major mobility authorities, EIT Urban Mobility, invests in Vidde’s current funding round.

In the northern parts of Europe, the snowmobile is often the only way to get around during the winter months. Many use it as their daily commuter vehicle for work and shopping, while others depend on it for critical work tasks in the most demanding environments. Vidde is proud to offer the first circular electric solution that meets both of these needs.

Our journey has been marked by fantastic partnerships, and now we welcome a new, strong player to our team.

Vidde is currently working on an open funding round of approximately 2 million euros to finance the start of our series production, and over half of the capital is already secured. We are therefore pleased to announce that EIT Urban Mobility has chosen to join us as a new investor in Vidde!

EIT Urban Mobility is one of the most significant authorities in mobility development in Europe. Their investment is not only financially important, but also gives us access to a large European toolbox with expertise and an extensive network.

Our first circular electric snowmobile has been developed with a clear purpose: to be a reliable workhorse. It is designed for operations that require both power and precision, from military tasks and maintenance of critical infrastructure like power lines, to the management of ski resorts and experience tourism. Vidde is built to deliver performance, efficiency, and, not least, silence – regardless of how challenging the task is.

We are now working to accelerate the start of our series production as soon as possible to meet the strong demand.
