Heading into 2025, we’re taking several steps forward, preparing for serial production and creating meaningful partnerships. Building on a quarter filled with achieving recognitions and awards for our commitment to sustainability and innovation while also expanding our team with key expertise – it’s really an important time in our journey towards shaping the future of sustainable mobility.

Business performance & highlights

Serial production preparation

We are laying the foundation for industrial-scale production, setting up routines, optimising workflows, and creating scalability. Something we will continue developing as we move towards serial production.

Team expansion

We’re glad to welcome another snowmobile enthusiast to the core team. With a master’s degree in vehicle development and over 12 years as a snowmobile development engineer at BRP he brings invaluable expertise. This is a big part of our prioritisation in building the right long-term competencies within Vidde.

Recognition & awards

Winning the Green Good Design Award

The Vidde Alfa received one of the world’s most prominent design awards, the “Green Good Design Award”.

GOLD in the German Design Award

Also, we are honored with a prestigious gold in “The German Design Award”, for our commitment to circular design and sustainability. These external recognitions are especially significant as we build a circular product, where the design is fundamental in balancing sustainability in emissions and profitability in economics.

Entrepreneurial recognition

Confirming the impact-driven path we are paving in sustainable mobility, Carnegie has acknowledged Vidde in the “Entrepreneur of the Future” awards, recognising our mission in building a company that combines significant impact with profitability. And Dagens Industri named Vidde one of the “Top 8 Companies to Watch in 2025”.

New partnerships

Winter vehicle testing

This winter, we are collaborating with the Swedish winter testing facility Swedish Proving Ground Association (SPGA) to carry out a rigorous testing program. The goal is to validate and refine the vehicle’s performance in harsh winter conditions.

Collaboration with Hydro

We share a circular philosophy with Hydro, which enables us to lower material costs and reduce emissions over the vehicle’s lifecycle. Hydro will contribute to identifying vehicle components best suited for circular design and material handling under this partnership.

Looking ahead

Winter is naturally the season when everything we have planned and developed throughout the year goes live. We are building on the insights gained from last winter’s customer testing, developing a new vehicle that closely aligns with customer needs.

This quarter, we’ll present Vidde to future customers and investors. And the machines will be present at several destinations, including SkiStar and ICEHOTEL!

Thank you for being part of our journey so far. We’re looking forward to continuing the journey towards sustainable mobility.
