A lot has happened since our last update, and we are now fully focused on the transition to serial production. Our spring customer demonstrations confirmed that our work machine meets our customers’ needs. Although customers have not yet tested the final product, we are working intensely to secure the first commercial agreements.

Considering the current market situation, we have made the strategic decision to adjust our production start to ensure stable and sustainable serial production. We have chosen to mitigate risk and give ourselves more time to complete our financing round and build a robust supply chain. The goal is now to move directly to serial production in Q2 2026. This strategic decision gives us a unique advantage to rapidly ramp up volumes in the market, as there are currently no other new electric work machines on the horizon.

Vidde receives sweden’s most prestigious design award

“A silent mountain world is valuable for animals, nature, and people alike. With its electric snowmobile, Vidde shows the way toward the future of off-road mobility, a solution for the next generation that reduces noise pollution and significantly cuts CO2 emissions.

Manufactured in Sweden based on circular principles and developed in close dialogue with users in tourism and ski resorts, Vidde combines a high level of design with function and sustainability. The result is a vehicle that preserves nature’s silence while enabling accessibility and freedom of movement in arctic environments.

Vidde is designed for today and ready for tomorrow, an example of how form can drive the mobility transition and contribute to a more sustainable way of experiencing the mountain world.” excerpt from the jury motivation.

We are exceptionally proud to announce that Vidde has been awarded the “Excellent Swedish Design” distinction (Utmärkt Svensk Form) by Svensk Form. This award is a significant mark of honor, positioning our work as part of the next wave of Swedish cultural heritage. The recognition was officially presented by Prince Carl Philip Bernadotte.

Vidde’s design is now protected in both Europe and the USA

This is an important step to safeguard our unique design and brand ahead of the commercial launch.

Dual-use

The focus on dual-use applications—products that function for both civilian and military purposes—has significantly increased. Our customer demonstrations confirm that the Vidde machine is a powerful and robust workhorse that meets dual-use requirements in both the short and long term. As the only electric utility vehicle designed, produced, and developed in the EU, Vidde is strategically important for regional resilience.

The RapidRide Platform

The positive feedback from our customer demonstrations confirms that our vehicle delivers the required performance and robustness. Customers have specifically highlighted the impressive towing capacity, the fact that the vehicle is relatively lightweight, and the ability to manage their fleet via RapidRide. This feedback gives us a strong starting position as we now negotiate with customers to secure the first firm agreements.

Going forward

During the coming months, our full focus is on finalizing the last steps before serial production. We will secure the first commercial agreements with our customers and close our ongoing financing round. These steps are crucial for unlocking the bank financing that will provide the working capital we need to begin delivering vehicles as planned.

If you have relevant and concrete help to offer—especially in securing our first commercial agreements, strategic dual-use opportunities, or completing the funding round—please contact us directly.

Thank you for your continued trust and commitment to Vidde’s journey.

Sincerely,

Christian Lystrup
CEO & Co-Founder
